At Almaviva, we want to guarantee the authenticity of our wine, so starting with the 2018 vintage, we have included a security seal called Prooftag™ Bubble Seal® on the capsule of each bottle.

The seal is a unique and irreproducible bubble code, which is associated with a QR code and an alphanumeric code that allows us to ensure the best quality for our customers and prevent counterfeiting.

This seal offers double protection:

1. A tamper-proof seal on the capsule confirms the origin and integrity of the bottle, and clearly indicates any tampering attempt.

2. The seal features a Bubble Tag™ made of a translucent polymer in which a random pattern of bubbles is self-generated by physical reaction.

This unique constellation of bubbles corresponds to a specific identity, such as a fingerprint for each bottle.
