The renowned American Wine Journalist James Suckling, gave the Almaviva 2014 an exceptional rate of 97 points. This is the third time that Mr. Suckling rates an Almaviva with 97 points, giving the same score to the previous 2013 and 2010 vintages. According to James Suckling Almaviva 2014 is “A wine with wonderful blueberry, blackberry and hints of cedar and spice. Full body, dense and beautiful fruit. Chocolate, walnut and berry. It goes on for minutes. A fabulous wine. Better in 2020 but gorgeos now”.
